About this event
On the Common of Lexington, Massachusetts on April 19, 1775, the British Army and the American militia faced off in the first battle of the Revolutionary War.
We will honor the 250th Anniversary of April 19, 1775, many will be standing out on overpasses, reminding passing motorists that we honor the values fought for that day. The values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness – can be traced back to the actions of our Minutemen. Come together to remind MAGA and Musk that we still hold these values, as defined in our Constitution, essential to our democratic way of life. They can take their small, grubby Hands Off! Our Democracy, which they fought for that day.
50501, Indivisible, Mobilize and many other organizations are teaming up to again call for protests in all 50 states against the Trump administration on April 19.
The goal of the protests is to have 3.5 percent of the U.S. population participate—more than 11 million people! They cite this figure as the threshold for "sustained resistance in order to make a difference."
Huerfano County will be in front of the County Building between 11 and 1.
